Los Angeles, California, July 11, 2011 – What exactly does “Social Enterprise” mean? Colin Mangham of Daily Brand Group will be joining Max Gail (LAP) and others including members of the Los Angeles chapter of the Social Enterprise Alliance July 18 from 7pm to 9pm to discuss and create an action plan around the roles of social enterprises and entrepreneurship in the emerging structural transformation of the economic system and its critical transition to sustainability.
So what solutions are coming from collaboration of for-profit and not-for-profit enterprises that will create new mindsets, organizations, and a livable future for coming generations? The agenda will be to “run laps” around the idea and develop an action plan that all attendees can carry out into their respective arenas. While it’s certain to be a freeform conversation, Colin’s anticipated focus will be on social entrepreneurship with respect to educational reform and cleantech innovation as well as humanitarian aid-to-trade initiatives he recently began in the Middle East amid Arab Spring.
The meeting will take place in Malibu, CA, just off the coast highway at Big Rock. If you’re interested in attending please email success@dailybrandgroup.com with Subject “Social Enterprise.”
