VENTURES

For the past 20 years, Colin Mangham and Tracy Ritzwoller, founding partners in our Ventures group as well as angel investors in several companies, have worked closely with capital partners and entrepreneurs alike in providing strategic, creative and other consultative services to help start-ups and other early stage companies live their mission statements, appropriately capitalize and, in many cases, achieve exit strategies including roll-ups and IPOs.

As an extension of our strategic and creative services, we can help growth-stage companies (which often begin as our consulting and/or media clients) connect with strategically aligned capital partners or, at the minimum, package them up so they are sufficiently dressed for the investor dance. With our strengths in brand building, product/service development, alliance formation and market analysis, we also incubate (two companies presently), actively advise and sometimes personally invest in significant growth opportunities.

We’ve been key players in helping raise over $75 million in venture and private equity funding and cheered seven clients when they went public or were bought by a major player. We continue to diversify and strengthen our positions through alliances with angel groups, FINRA registered broker-dealers and investment banking firms, enabling Daily Brand client access to a network of licensed investment bankers representing additional conduits to capital and sources for dealflow. We’ve also pooled and deployed personal funds for small cap bridge financing on four occasions in the past three years.

While capital formation is of course not our first (strategic) or second (creative) foot forward – we are, at the core, a consulting and communications agency – those are claims very few quote-unquote agencies like us can make. It’s primarily because we’re serial entrepreneurs ourselves. We know how to spot a real market opportunity, move fast, stretch dollars, and create value in the near-term to capture substantial rewards down the line.
